Menstruation is a monthly shedding of female's uteral lining; it lasts about 3 to 5 days (average) and contains blood and tissue that exits her body through the cervix and vagina – the first day of menstruation is the first day of your period.The menstrual cycle is the recurrent approximately monthly .The menstrual cycle is the hormonal driven cycle; day 1 is the first day of your period (bleeding) while day 14 is the approximate day you ovulate and if an egg is not fertilized, hormone levels eventually drop and at about day 25; the egg begins to dissolve and the cycle begins again with the period at about day 30.Most periods vary somewhat, the flow may be light, moderate or heavy and can vary in length from about 2 to 7 days; with age, the cycle usually shortens and becomes more regular.Problems with periods include the following:  amenorrhea  (no period),  dysmenorrhea  (painful period), and abnormal bleed

my father

My Dad is my real hero because he is the most special person in my life. He is a Civil Engineer by profession. At weekends he loves to play with me the whole day. During weekdays we work hard & spend maximum time working at his office. He is amongst the top ranked employee of his company & has won many awards for the same. He tries his best to keep our family happy. He works hard to make money for our family. He loves me a lot & always tries to cheer me up whenever I am in a sad mood.Every day he takes out little time for me in the night to acknowledge my day to day activities & problems if any. He is my best friend. I can discuss everything with him without any hesitation. Things that I fail to reveal out to my close friends, I can easily discuss them with my Dad.Whenever I need his help, he is always available for me. He is like a hero to me. He is a funny, cool, adventurous and smart human being.

Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan is a festival that falls on the full moon day of Shrawan month  according to the Eastern Calander. It is celebrated among Hindus residing all around the world. According to the different geographical locations, it is called by different names as well. In the hilly regions of Nepal, it is celebrated as Janai Purnima. Similarly, in the Terai region and the northern parts of India, it is celebrated as Rakhi. The meaning behind each of these days is also different to some degree as is evident from the name itself. Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is mainly celebrated by the Brahmins who belong to the higher casts that are Brahmin and Kshtriyas in India and Nepal. But, coming to this day, it is celebrated by everyone who knows the meaning behind it. Discussed below are the ways in which Janai Purnima and Rakhi are celebrated throughout the Hindu community all around the world and how each have their own unique characteristics.

JANAI PURNIMA

  Janai Purnima   is one of the great Hindu festivals of Nepal celebrated all over the country. This festival is about the   sacred   thread . It lies in the full moon fortnight of Bhadra and August in Gregorian. Brahmans and Chhetris in Nepal change their sacred thread known as Janai on this day from Gurus, after taking a holy bath in the river. This full moon day sees a large number of  Brahmans  at the holy riverbanks. They take ritual dips in  the water and offer ablution to the gods. They then change their sacred threads. Brahman priests tie yellow sacred threads around the wrists of the faithful.  Newars of Kathmandu Valley call this festival  Gunhi Punhi  and they prepare a soup of a mixture of beans called  Kwati  as special food for the day. Kwati is a nutritious soup made from sprouted beans.  In this festival thousands of devotees worship lord Shiva at  Pashupatinath  in Kathmandu and  Kumbeswor  in Lalitpur and take holy dips in ponds and lakes to eradicate their sins. GAI JATRA

Gai is   cow   and Jatra is  Procession  (Festival).  Gai Jatra  festival, the procession of cows, generally falls in the month of Bhadra, which correspond to English Calendar months of August/September. This year Gai Jatra is on August 27,2018. That is on Bhadra 11, 2075 BS. The festival of cows is one of the most popular festivals in Nepal. It is said people in ancient time started worshiping Yamraj,"the god of death" on this day. However, the modern form of celebration of Gai Jatra came into existence in the medieval period of Nepal during the reign of Malla Kings. The present form of Gai Jatra with humorous acts, parody, comedy and was started by then King of Kathmandu  Pratap Malla . He made Rani Pokhari  (Pond) in the heart of Kathmandu and build a temple in the middle of the same pond.
